Synopsis: Students develop a research proposal, an application for access to research participants and the required ethics applications. Responsibilities of student and supervisor. Issues associated with research supervision. Statistical issues.

Assessment: Research proposal (3000 words): 50% + Ethics application: 15% + Seminar presentation: 15% + Data analysis and computer exercises: 20%
