Research in Nursing Practice

Synopsis: The unit focuses on the role of research in comtemporary nursing practice. It will assist the student to critically appraise research for nursing practice. To this end students will be introduced to the research process; different research designs, various research methodology and data analysis procedures including basic statistics. This subject will help the student in linking the theory of nursing with the practice of nursing.

Assessment: Assignment 2000 words: 40% + Examination: 60%
