Synopsis: Contemporary health care issues, challenges & policy debates in Australia & other countries demonstrating the complexity & broad nature of health service management. International comparisons analyse various models of delivery, coordination & impacting factors. Principles of leadership, financial & human resource management, strategic & operational planning, law, quality improvement, epidemiology & biostatistics as applied to contemporary health care issues, challenges, policy debates & development approaches & solutions.
