Synopsis: Physical hazards encountered in occupational & general environments, methods of recognition, evaluation & control applicable. Introduction to principles & practice of ergonomics, occupational hygine as applied to physical hazards. Biomechanics, physical design of tasks, task physiology & perception, noise, radiations, thermal environments & pressure effects.
