Synopsis: This subject will provide more advanced coverage of the hardware and software tools available to multimedia system developers. It will focus principally on tools and technologies to support animation, 3-D modelling and rendering, but will also develop further the basic concepts of multimedia technology and the hardware and software tools which were covered in Multimedia Tools 1 and Multimedia Tools 2. As with Multimedia Tools 1 and 2, the subject will emphasise the application of the tools in practice, rather than the technology itself.

Assessment: Examination and unit tests: 60% + Assignments: 40%
