Synopsis: This subject looks at extending the skills of policy analysis by considering approaches and specific policy areas in different countries. Although there is substantial convergence in policy areas with the emergence of a world economy, there are variations which are interesting in themselves and which illuminate policy making and its analysis.

Assessment: Essay (3000 words): 50% + Case study (2000 words): 40% + Attendance and participation: 10%
