Advanced clinical practices

24 points + Four six-week attachments in clinical settings of the student's choice + One rotation in surgery and one in medicine must be selected from the range of core placements + Faculty approval of placements is required + students may be redirected according to individual needs.

Synopsis: This program facilitates consolidation and enhancement of clinical skills and knowledge in a range of clinical environments according to the student's interest. Students will participate in a range of activities including supervised clinical practice and related activities. Students will be expected to undertake a range of learning activities which will be both self-directed and faculty-based. Appropriate feedback to students will facilitate professional development.

Assessment: Continuous assessment + Qualitative report on each selective may be available + Pass grade only
