MED3051Clinical and communication skills II(MED)
Dr S S Wijesinha (General Practice) Synopsis: This subject teaches medical history taking and physical examination of the neurological and genitourinary systems, as well as the special senses - offering lectures, practical skills tutorials and clinical contact visits to general practitioners, community pharmacists and an obstetric unit. The subject includes a revision of the second-year course content so students cover a broad range of basic skills in history-taking and physical examination of all the major body systems. Students commence a case study that continues in MED3052. Assessment: Formal oral examination: 80% + Tutor's assessment: 20% |
