Synopsis: Principles of pharmacology, especially mechanisms of drug-receptor interactions and pharmacokinetics. Where appropriate, prototype drugs in current use are discussed to illustrate concepts and principles. The material will be reinforced in MED3042 and in other subjects in which specific drugs are discussed.
