Synopsis: This unit deals with standard business applications of statistics and project management. Topics covered will include regression analysis, forecasting, time series, Gantt charts, project scheduling, resource allocation, project costing and project control. Standard software packages will be used including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.

Assessment: Test: 20% + Assignment 1: 15% + Assignment 2: 15% + Final examination: 50% + Students must pass the final examination (i.e. 50% or more) plus gain an overall of 50% or more in order to pass the unit
