Synopsis: Children's new rights in the health, education, legal, and welfare areas against the background of the societal changes leading to these developments. Children's development in relation to the exercise of these rights and to the way professionals might work with children in a more participative manner. Alternative models of practice with children and skills for these new models.

Assessment: Essay (3000 words): 35% + Essay (6000 words): 65%
