Dr Elise Histed 6 points + Mixed Mode: Clayton, City + 2 hour seminar per week + Prequisite: LAW7212, LAW7265 + Corequisite: LAW7267 + Prohibited Combination: LAW4169, LAW4201 Synopsis: This subject gives students an understanding of the historical significance of the doctrine of equity. It will examine the increasing use by the courts of equitable doctrines in the development of legal remedies and give students the opportunity to discuss further areas in which equitable doctrines may be held to be relevant.
