The subject is taught by supervision of the thesis. The thesis is equivalent to 144 or 288 hours of work. Contact hours with the supervisor are as agreed between the supervisor and the candidate.

Synopsis: The subject is taken by completing either a 15,000 or 30,000 word thesis under appropriate supervision. The topic is designed by the candidate in conjunction with a staff member and approved by the Postgraduate studies Committee.

Assessment: The thesis will be assessed by an examiner under the Faculty regulations
