Synopsis: The nature and operation of superannuation funds in Australia and how they are affected by the superannuation legislation, by the taxation regime, and by general principles of contract and equity. The trustee's duties.

Assessment: Written assignment (max. 2000 words): 20% + Open-book examination (3 hours): 80%. + Students may be permitted to undertake written assignments (max. 5000 words on approved research topics worth up to 50% of the total assessment
