LAW2155Negotiation and Mediation Skills for Professionals 206(LAW)
Dr S Caspi Sable 6 points · Five consecutive days · Clayton Synopsis: The subject deals with both the theory and practice of negotiation and mediation as problem solving processes. Students are exposed to important communication techniques including interactive listening and effective framing, as well as tools for empathetic understanding and building constructive working relationships. Learning in the subject is highly experiential, with a significant emphasis on interactive exercises and role-plays. It utilises a multi-media format and offers students significant opportunities to develop practical skills in the areas of negotiation and mediation.
