Synopsis: Develops students' proficiency to academic and professional level. Attention is focused on the use of Korean in various genre areas such as business, journalism, science, law, tourism, and so on. Socio-cultural aspects in these areas are also explored.

Assessment: Five short written papers (200 words each - total 1000 words):35% + Written paper (1000 words): 20% + Examination (2 hours):25% + Speaking (equivalent to 500 words): 20%
