Synopsis: This subject aims to extend proficiency acquired in the subject KOR2450. This subject will place more emphasis on technical aspects of language translation and introduce various text transfer techniques, so that students can understand the problems of translating from both linguistic and cultural perspectives.

Assessment: Translation assignment (2000 words): 50% + Final exam (2 hours): 30% + Class exercises: 20%
