Synopsis: Advanced intermediate communication skills in written and spoken language integrating listening, speaking, reading and writing. Activities are built around topics relating to Japanese lifestyles, their values, and to cultural interaction between Australian and Japanese.

Assessment: Final examination (2 hours): 30% + Aural and oral test: 20% + Assignments: 50%
