6 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisite: INM1310 or equivalent + Prohibitions: INM3410

Synopsis: Using contemporary materials selected from the print media, students are introduced to a variety of styles, including those of business, law, journalism and the environment/tourism, and then participate in structured workshops where appropriate terminology and structures are used. Model translations are made and oral presentations are given.

Assessment: Translations (3 x 250 words): 30% + Essay in Indonesian (1000 words): 30% + Oral presentations: 40%
