IAR4406Industrial experience(A&D)
0 points + 240 hours at approved work sites + Long vacation after second semester + Prerequisites: IAR3106, PPR3108 Synopsis: This subject introduces students to the day-to-day realities of professional interior architecture operations. Students spend an intensive and protracted period observing and assisting practising interior architects or related professionals across a variety of tasks. They document the experience as it unfolds for them, and produce a summative report that critically analyses the professional and experiential facets of their internship. Their hosts also produce documentary evidence of the student's contribution to their professional operations. Assessment: Provision of logged time and performance report + submission of reflective work diary. Only pass or fail grades will be recorded for this unit |
