GSE3001Social responsibility and professional development(ENG)
L Soste 4 points + 26 lecture hours, 13 hours of supported self-learning, 13 hours of seminar/discussion groups (on-campus) + 8 hours per week of self-directed study plus a residential school (OCDL) + First semester + Gippsland + Prerequisite: GSE2001 Synopsis: This subject has two basic aims: (a) to expose engineers to the social and economic impacts of engineering projects, and (b) to provide engineers with guidelines for career/professional development. Assessment: Preparation of two small-group case study reports: 50% + two seminar presentations plus question and answer sessions: 10% each + Examination (2 hours): 30% |
