Synopsis: Introduction to basic concepts of human behaviour such as human perception, learning, memory, motivation, emotion and thinking. The course relates theories of human behaviour to the student's own life experiences and areas of future work in human services.

Assessment: Assignment (1000 words): 20% + Tutorial presentation (Gippsland)/Assignments (Off-campus): 40% + Examination (2 hours): 40%
