12 points + 20 hours per week + First or Second or summer semester + in-country + Prerequisites: Intermediate German Studies part 2, or equivalent

Synopsis: An approved semester-length subject at a foreign institution. Placement arrangements will be made through the department.

Assessment: Successful completion of a minimum eight-week full time intensive language course at an approved institution in a German speaking country, or successful completion of a minimum of two Hauptseminare or four Proseminare at a German university.
