Synopsis: This unit serves as a corollary to the language and culture core units offered by the department at first and second-year levels. It provides students with basis proficiency in the linguistic register of German as it is used in business and trade. It complements material introduced in the core units and provides also an introduction to GRN3185/GRN4185.

Assessment: Assessment Written (2500 words - five fortnightly assessment tasks): 40% + Examinations (2 hours): 60%
