GAS4501Models of Counselling(SCI)
Mr Gordon Walker 12% of total mark for Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology + First semester + OCDL + Prerequisite: Bachelors degree and major in psychology from any course accredited by the Australian Psychological Society Synopsis: This subject provides an overview of the theoretical foundation of counselling psychology. A variety of counselling theories and methods will be studied. The problem-solving approach developed by Gerard Egan will form the basis of practical counselling strategy. Students will have the opportunity to acquire counselling skills at residential schools and via casework assignments. Assessment: Progressive assignments: 50% + Examination: 50% |
