Synopsis: Introduction to spreadsheeting. Descriptive statistics. Elementary probability. Discrete and continuous probability distributions. Statistical inference. Simple linear regression and correlation. Forecasting and time series. Index numbers.

Assessment: Assignments and tests: 30% + Final examination (3 hours): 70%
