Synopsis: An account of the nature of Australian coastal landscapes, including not only environmental factors, but those that refer to socio-economic matters as reflected in the politics and techniques of management, regulation, conservation and investment.

Assessment: One essay (3000 words): 70% + One field report (1500 words): 30%
