Multimedia design & authoring

6 points + 3 hours in class and 9 independent study hours per week + First semester + Prerequisites: admission to MMDes

Synopsis: This subject gives students understanding and ability in the concepts and tools applicable to multimedia design and authoring. Idea development, scripting, storyboarding, planning, prototyping and presentation of multimedia design concepts are explored through the development and design of multimedia product. Multimedia authoring tools and techniques are demonstrated.

Assessment: Major project 50% + Exercises 30% + Journal 20%
