Synopsis: CASE environment: SAA, AD/Cycle, CUA, DECs; cohesion; data repositories and encyclopaedias. Meta modelling; integrated project support environments; evaluation of CASE software; CASE products; current trends and issues in CASE technology; CASE integration.

Assessment: Research paper: 50% + Practical work: 50%
