6 points per semester + Full year + Clayton + Prerequisites: all first and second-year core units in digital systems

Synopsis: Students plan, design, and construct a physical device that combines the elements of hardware and software into a functional engineering prototype. Supporting material will be provided in specification, scheduling, costing, material sourcing, justification, personal task management, progress reporting, testing and evaluation, report writing, application of CAD tools in project management.

Assessment: Demonstration of working prototype, project reports and presentations: 100%
