Mr P O'Meara 6 points + OCDL + First semester Synopsis: In seeking to develop a sound understanding of health management in rural and remote Australia, the unit is guided by a vision of a health care system that is dynamic, adaptable to change and creative in providing comprehensive health care to rural and remote communities. The unit is multidiscipline in nature and designed to enable students to; develop awareness of the Australian health care system; discuss and apply the major concepts of contemporary management theory; debate the issues impacting on health service delivery in rural and remote Australia and analyse critically health service delivery and management in rural and remote Australia.
