Synopsis: Research Methods introduces epidemiology and other research methodologies which may be usefully applied to the investigation of rural health. An emphasis is placed on a belief that the investigative skills of all health practitioners are an integral part of their professional repertoire. The principles of research design are described including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
