BUS5950Business Modelling for strategic planning(IT) Not offered in 2002 L Churilov 6 points + 2-hour lecture and -1 hour tutorial per week + First semester + Clayton + Prohibitions BUS3950 Synopsis: This subject addresses challenging business management and decision support issues in strategic planning with reference to practical business planning problems and the use of commercially available decision support software. The emphasis is on the use of quantitative modelling and interactive computing techniques to develop business consulting "can do" approach to challenging problems in telecommunications, transportation, manufacturing, marketing, defence, and the public sector. Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 60% + Project: 30% + Tests: 10% + Students must pass the examination in order to pass the subject |
