Synopsis: Operations management in manufacturing and service organisations. Topics include financial calculations, an introduction to computer software systems in a management context, production planning and control, materials requirements planning, project management, just-in-time systems, and the ISO9000 standards. Different types of organisations and their business strategies.

Assessment: Assignments: 20% + Examination (2 hours): 80% + Stuedents must pass the examination in order to pass the subject
