BUS4200Chinese language information technology(IT)
C-H Yeh 6 points + 2-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial per week + Second semester and summer + Clayton, Caulfield + Prerequisites: Familiarity with written Chinese + Prohibition: BUS3200 Synopsis: The subject is designed to familiarise students with The Chinese language computing environment and to enable them to develop a sound knowledge of Chinese computing in a business context using popular Chinese software systems and application packages. The emphasis is on Chinese computing, but principles applicable to all non-Roman character sets are discussed. The course is taught in English, but students need to have a good knowledge of written Chinese. Assessment: Assignments:15% + Practical work: 15% + Examination (2 hours): 70% + Students must pass the examination in order the pass the subject. |
