Mr Brendan Sweeney 6 points + 3 hours per week + Second semester + Caulfield + OCDL + Prerequisite: BTF1010 or PMM1010 for students undertaking the Bachelor of Psychology and Management/Marketing Synopsis: The legal framework which operates in relation to marketing decisions and practice. Topics discussed include unfair trading practices, intellectual property rights (patents, trade marks and copyright), anti-competitive conduct and new marketing practices. The subject places the laws controlling unfair and anti-competitive practices within the wider economic context. Assessment: Assignment (3000 words): 30% + Examination (3 hours, open book): 70% |
