48 points + Clayton + Prerequisites: A distinction level average in 24 points at third year level BIO units, or 18 points in BIO and 6 points in an approved relevant discipline or level 3 units by permission

Synopsis: Students undertake supervised research, present a research seminar, and submit an essay on an advanced topic in biology distinct from that of their research project. Candidates may commence the honours year at the beginning of either semester. Further information is available from the course coordinator and at meetings held with prospective students during second semester of third year.

Assessment: Research project, written report on the results, an essay and oral presentation
