Synopsis: Ceramic glaze formulations and calculations. Commercial standards and testing of ceramic products. Conditions for the development of specialised ceramic bodies, glazes and slip coatings. Glaze classification. Colour development in ceramic bodies, glaze and slip coatings.

Assessment: Research Paper: 20% + Assigned research projects: 80%
