Master of Family Medicine (Clinical)

The aim of this 72-credit-point degree is to provide general practitioners with the opportunity to 'master' their clinical skills within a general practice setting. The program is by coursework only and is conducted over three years part-time, or over one year full-time should students have completed the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. Recognition of prior learning is available to those applying directly into the Master of Family Medicine (Clinical) and who hold the FRACGP qualification or equivalent.

Course structure

The coursework includes three compulsory core units as listed below together with five elective units which are similar to those offered under the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.
