Introduction to multimedia imaging

6 points + 2 hours in class and 8 independent study hours per week + First semester + Caulfield + Prerequisite:admission to MMM course + Core for MMM

Synopsis: This subject introduces the student to the different aspects of digital imaging for multimedia. The process of creating and using digital imaging effectively is defined and students will gain an understanding of the theory behind the inclusion of digital images in multimedia production. Students undertake proejct work which explores a range of technical skills and design concept for incorporating digital images into multimedia production.

Assessment: Major project:50% + Essay:50%
