VCM1102Basic design(A&D)
6 points + 2 studio hours, 2 lecture hours and 8 independent study hours per week + Second semester + Berwick, Distance + Prerequisites: VCM1101 Synopsis: Introduction to the basic elements and principles of two and three-dimensional design, and the development of the analytical and communication skills necessary for understanding and application. Development of the creative processes. Theories of perception. Problem solving in design and the exploration and manipulation of elements. Set projects encourage experimentation with various materials, techniques and methods of interpretation. Assessment: Four projects: 25% each |
