Social Work Perspectives on Human Development

6 points + 2.5 hours per week + First semester + Caulfield, distance + Prerequisites: completion of 48 points at first-year level + Social Work subjects are available only within the context of the Bachelor of Social Work degree or with permission from Head of Social Work

Synopsis: A lifespan approach to human development with particular emphasis on lifestage transitions, including death, variations in human behaviour, and the impact of specific life crises, and consideration of the implications for social work practice.

Assessment: Assignment (2500 words): 50% + Assignment (1150 words): 25% + Class test (1 hour): 25%
