24 points + First semester and second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: 54-point major sequence

Synopsis: Students will research a topic in Hispanic literature, linguistics, cultural studies or civilisation. The topic must be chosen as early as possible. Students will take a library use workshop as part of this subject.

Assessment: Written (15000 words, in Spanish): 100% + An outline of at least 500 words must be submitted by 30 March and a complete first draft of the dissertation by the first week of the second semester. The deadline for submission of the final version is 30 October.
