To be advised 12 points + 2 hours per week + First semester + Clayton Synopsis: This subject examines the idea of reform and its diverse meanings at different moments of the Christian church0s history as the interaction of institutional, social, political and intellectual circumstances. The impact of Renaissance humanism and the emergence of an understanding of the idea of Europe and the dynamics of the formation of nation states will be examined as the background for different programs of religious change. Assessment: Literature review, written to a set question (3000 words): 35% + Research essay (5000 words) accompanied by an oral presentation: 55% and 10% respectively |
