Synopsis: Advanced editing follows on from Authorship, editing and text and focuses on editorial instruction and an extended consideration of issues relating to editorial style, the editing of quite different kinds of text (scholarly, technical, literary etc.), and the practical application of editorial skills.

Assessment: Research / project essay (2000 words): 30% + 2 practical assignments (1500 words each): 50% + Exam (1000 words): 20%
