PSY3122Introduction to counselling(SCI) Proposed to be offered next in 2002 To be advised 6 points + One 1-hour lecture and one 3-hour workshop per week + Second semester + Caulfield + Pre/corequisites: PSY2011 or PSY2031 + Prohibitions: APY3070. Synopsis: Central theme: introduction to counselling theory, interventions and research. Themes to be covered include theories of counselling, evaluation of counselling research designs and interventions, ethical decision making in counselling psychology. Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 50% + Laboratory report (2000 words): 25% + Essay (2000 words): 5%. |
