6 points + 4 hours in class and 8 independent study hours + Second semester + Caulfield and Gippsland + Prerequisites: 6 points of level 1 Photomedia subjects plus, for BVA students only VIS2103 + Corequisites: For BVA (photomedia major) only: 6 points in another level 2 Photomedia subject

Synopsis: This subject buildings on the skills and knowledge acquired in all level 1 photomedia subjects and in PHO2101. Within the context of a visual art practice students continue to develop a strong foundation for their art practice through producing photomedia related imagery. In consultation with staff, students will extend upon ideas/projects developed in previous photomedia units and determine an individual project. This project will permit students to explore the creative and expressive dimensions of photomedia as a specific discipline or as an aspect of interdisciplinary practice.

Assessment: Initial folio:20% + Final folio:80%
