Synopsis: A substantial supervised research project on an approved topic of the candidate0s own choice. The recommended length is 12,000 words. Two copies of the paper must be submitted by an agreed date in mid-October (if taken as a first semester or all-year subject) or mid-June (if taken as a second semester subject). Students meet regularly with their supervisor throughout the year.
