Synopsis: The supervised reading course may be used to fill gaps in the student0s background or to tailor a course to individual requirements. Where a reading course is taken, one or two supervisors will be appointed, and regular essays will be required. When appropriate, a student may be required to attend lectures for a relevant third or fourth-year subject.
