Synopsis: A knowledge base for safe practice in the handling, administration and storage of drugs as part of an overall plac of care. How to monitor and evaluate the outcomes of drug therapy for individuals. The Nurses Board of Victoria regulations regarding drug administration by students. The philosophy and methods of other health practitioners and their contribution to health care. Non-drug therapies in nursing practice.

Assessment: Examination: 50% + Drug rounds & pharmacology care plans: 40% + In class quiz: 10% + Mastery calculation drug test: Must achieve mastery of 90%
